SOLDERING FOR VIRGINS
BABSALISCIOUS BRACELET

~ Monday ~

For beginners and also for girls who have been around the block...learn all about soldering, tips & tricks, which tools are best and why, and more ~ then we'll do the unthinkable by dismembering a Barbie (not as traumatic as it sounds) and using the parts to make individual bracelet charms! You'll learn how wrap these appendages to create your own bezel, place 3-dimensional objects between glass, and solder on plastic/rubber without melting it! Of course you'll finish off your projects with jump rings ~ learning 3 different jump ring techniques. You'll love being de-flowered this way! Glass Kit included. $150

THE MAKING OF A MARIONETTE
~ Tuesday ~

Magic happens here when we create a fully functioning Marionette Puppet from collage, glass & found objects. You decide if you want to make a Bird which flies or a Doll which dances! You'll stretch your creativity in forming the different parts of each, and engineering them for graceful movement. Playful and fun, a pool-side puppet show will be the Grande Finale of our day! Glass Kit included. Pre-Requisite: Virgins or previous soldering experience. $150

PRETTY AS A PRINCESS
~ Wednesday ~

A RARE "No Solder" Workshop! Let's collage the Sally Jean way! Using a bounty of ephemera, together we will paint/collage/embellish a wall hanging shield-shaped banner. I will show you how I make my collaged Princesses complete with circle boobies with layer upon layer of collage papers, colorful paints, crayons, pencils, chalks, more ephemera, found objects....etc. Once crowned, we'll hang our banner from a found branch. Our finished banner will be about 18"-20" high. Shared ephemera and shield included. $150

DRIVING MISS DAISY
~ Thursday ~

Another fantasy Workshop!! Imagine a necklace with a car that actually drives! If you can imagine it...you can make it! We'll create a one-of-a-kind necklace with a special pulley system which will wind a vintage toy car up and down your chest! Just think of all the fun you (and others LOL) will have with that! We'll use soldering & wire-wrapping to connect our necklace of found objects, charms & chains with a centerpiece that will be a show-stopper. You'll drive yourself crazy in this workshop (and will love every minute of it). Car & Glass Kit included. Pre-Requisite: Virgins or previous soldering experience. $150

MUSIC BOX MAYHEM
~ Friday ~

A very special Workshop indeed! No...not the little ballerina music boxes we had as a little girl...but a grown-up work of art music box on a pedestal. We'll use found objects and a bounty of seashells and glass to create our music box which will be hinged to open/close. This object d'art will be mounted atop a pedestal. Of course, there will be movement and music. Not for Virgins. Pre-Requisite: Virgins or previous soldering experience. $150
